Colorado Chronicle

Colorado Chronicle is a lightweight local-news publication template for coloradochronicle.com. It is built to be static, fast, searchable, and simple to host on Cloudflare Pages without a database or server maintenance.

The launch edition is organized around six practical sections: Front Range, Civic Life, Business, Outdoors, Culture, and Guides. The first articles are evergreen starter briefings so the site has a complete editorial shape before a real newsroom workflow is added.

Publishing Model

• Briefings are Markdown/MDX files in src/content/articles.
• Sections are JSON files in src/content/categories.
• Staff profiles are MDX files in src/content/authors.
• Search, RSS, and sitemap output are generated during the static build.

Template Credit

This site is based on the MIT-licensed Astro News template by Mohammad Rahmani and has been rebranded for Colorado Chronicle.
